Ronnie's Bar Warwick

Building on local appeal for Ronnie’s Bar Warwick

EMPR already works with Warwick Chamber of Trade to promote Warwick as a destination across the UK, but I was delighted  to be approached by Ronnie’s bar for some dedicated PR to help spread the word about two great events.

The bar and music venue is a popular haunt in Warwick but had come up with several ways to help the local community and add to its already-strong local appeal.

Ronnies Bar Warwick In September, Ronnie’s transformed itself into an art gallery, showcasing the work of local artist Rupam ‘Rupe’ Barthakur. The exhibition saw Rupam’s work – including a giant portrait of Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood – take up residence on Ronnie’s walls as well as being available for purchase.

The focus of PR activity was local coverage to encourage people to attend the exhibition, which was achieved through local newspapers and publications. EMPR also secured follow-up coverage on the successful launch.

Following on from this, in December Ronnie’s hosted a festive pop-up to showcase independent makers and businesses and encourage people to visit all day and enjoy Christmas shopping in a unique setting, whilst enjoying festive food and drink.

Again, this event was featured across local media to reach a target audience of people who could easily pop into the event, and also to achieve the wider aim of raising brand awareness of Ronnie’s.
