Boutique Handbook

Coventry and Warwick feature in The Boutique Handbook

As part of my work with both Warwick Chamber of Trade and Coventry BID, EMPR organised a press trip for The Boutique Handbook to showcase both locations as staycation destinations for a wider audience across the UK.

The Boutique Handbook’s editor Katie Wilson spent 24 hours in Warwick, taking in local cultural hotspots, independent bars and restaurants and meeting town representatives to see just what makes it so special.

Boutique Handbook She then spent time in Coventry doing the same, staying in local accommodation, checking out The Show Windows project as part of the City of Culture, as well as the Turner Prize on display at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum, Coventry’s 2-Tone Village and enjoying the city’s nightlife and food and drink scene.

To do this, EMPR worked with local businesses and local PR agencies to organise accommodation, meals and experiences to ensure both locations were showcased in the best light possible.

Both Warwick and Coventry went on to features in The Boutique Handbooks guide, ‘Magical Places to Visit in the UK at Christmas‘.

Both locations were also set to be the focus of individual full features on The Boutique Handbook based on a weekend in each place.
