EMPR’s work with Coventry BID saw the announcement of the return of Coventry Food Festival as well as the launch of of Music Live – a brand new music event launched by the BID to coincide with the food festival.
The two events, which take place on the same weekend in June (17th-19th) were announced separately in order to build excitement and gain coverage.
The launch of Music Live saw a star-studded line-up of DJs and singers announced for the weekend, including top DJs Paul Oakenfold and Eddie Halliwell and M People’s Heather Small, as well as the likes of Paul Morrell, KKlass, British dance group Bootyluv and Rozalla, the voice behind hit single Everybody’s Free, at the event at Coventry city centre’s Assembly Festival Garden in the city centre.
This was followed several weeks later by the announcement of the headliners for Coventry Food Festival – with top chefs Glynn Purnell and Paul Foster set to take to the stage to show off their skills.
But announcements were covered extensively by local media, including Coventry Live, BBC CWR, the Coventry Observer, DLuxe Magazine and more, with accompanying social media traction thanks to Piece of Cake Marketing.
As well as promoting the food festival and Music Live event, I’m delighted to be compering the food festival with my alternative ‘Eat with Ellen’ food blogger hat on. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
